one of the perks of living in nyc is that even on the most dismal of days, you always have the chance of running into celebrities...
i was on the m86 cross -town bus... and i look up... guess who rides the bus? yep... mr. kevin bacon himself... we rode all the way from 2nd ave to central park west... (and there was traffic, so it was really like a 15 min ride)
i felt kinda like a stalker trying to get this picture...(almost like that episode of will and grace... when jack is the stalker...) but i didn't want to say anything because "real" new yorkers aren't impressed by celebrities, so i had to play it cool. :)
it was also refreshing to see a celebrity who is grounded enough to use public transportation like the rest of us, and doesn't let the fame get to him. (or maybe the economy has gotten to him too....)
